How we met
I met my wife when we were in school. One day I went to my friend's house and I explained to him about a relationship I had with a Christian lady. When my friend heard this, he explained things to me from the Holy Quran, and I took his advice. He said I should go make the prayer for guidance (istikharah). On the 3rd day after I started it, I saw one hijabi sister on my way to the mosque. She is now my wife. My mind was just clear to go straight to her, that is how I started the process.
How I Did It:
I followed Quran and hadith in every step I took, and it succeeded. Only God can make things possible in this life. If you do not follow what the Quran and hadith say, like having sex before marriage, this can lead you to what you don't like.
Advice
- My advice for every Muslim is to follow what the Quran and hadith say about relationships before you start one. I can use my own as example: After 8 yrs of courtship the lady told me that she was no longer interested. I sought for Allah's intervention, and in fact what Allah (SWA) provided for me is even far better than the previous.
