Suggested ReadingQ. Ramadan FAQ IndexA. Welcome! Muslims around the world anticipate the arrival of the holiest month of the year. The first day of Ramadan is expected to be on or around September 13, 2007. The specific date will not be known until the night before, as it depends on the actual visible sighting of the crescent moon that marks the beginning of the Islamic month.
