Many Muslims buy their clothing while travelling in the Muslim world, or sew their own. But the Internet is now allowing Muslims from all over the world ready access to a growing number of online retailers. The following online shops offer clothing that meets Islamic requirements for modesty. If you know of others, please email me!

  • Ajwa – UK based online shop founded in 2003, with clothing for the entire family.
  • Al-Farah.com – Provides modern, modest and stylish fashions that preserve the Islamic identity - based in California.
  • Al Hannah.com – Based in the U.S. – great selection of imported clothing, accessories, and gifts.
  • Al-Hediya – Order clothing directly from sisters living in Kuwait. Extensive collection.
  • Al-Mujalbaba - Sister Jenneh offers women's and girls' scarves, jilbabs, niqabs, and other miscellaneous.
  • Amin Imports - Primarily men's and women's shalwar khamiz (pant & tunic sets), Afghani jewelry, accessories, rugs, tiles, and gift items.

  • Desert Store - Islamic clothing from the Gulf region, Bedouin jewelry and household decor, even Arabian horse costumes! Based in Saudi Arabia.
  • Heather’s Hijabs – Specializing in scarves and underscarves geared toward the needs of American Muslims. Carries “The Visor Underscarf,” a style popular in Indonesia and Malaysia, but difficult to find in the United States.
