Muslims believe that Allah (God) sent some prophets with books or words of revelation: Abraham's Scrolls, the Psalms of David, the Torah, the Gospel of Jesus, and the Quran.

Muslims believe that Allah revealed books to His messengers as proof for mankind and as guidance for them. Among the books that were revealed are the Torah, which was revealed to Moses; the Gospel, which was revealed to Jesus; the Psalms, which Allah gave to David; the Tablets of Abraham; and finally, the Qur'an.
