Experience

Huda has written about Islam and the Muslim belief and culture for over two decades. She wrote The Everything Understanding Islam Book: A Complete and Easy to Read Guide to Muslim Beliefs, Practices, Traditions, and Culture (Everything, 2009). She also helped to produce The Authentic Step-by-Step Illustrated Janaah Guide at MissionIslam.com.

Huda is also a teacher. She taught elementary and primary classes and was head of English instruction at Al-Riyadh Governorate, a Montessori school in Saudi Arabia. She also worked with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program (IB-PYP) and as a vice-principal and college counselor at Advanced Learning Schools, in Saudi Arabia. Huda was a member of the Council of International Schools (CIS) evaluation team.

Education

Huda earned a Masters Education (M.Ed.) from Loyola University–Maryland. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Child Development from Oregon State University and an Elementary Teaching Certificate from Montessori Institute of San Diego.
