Was Michael Jackson a Muslim?

By July 2, 2009

Follow me on:

Like many aspects of singer Michael Jackson's life, his religious faith remains a mystery. Rumors are that he had embraced Islam this past November, with others declaring that these reports are invalid. Jackson's family has not yet announced funeral and burial arrangements, but there is speculation that Jackson might be buried in accordance with Islamic tradition.

There are some clues that perhaps Michael Jackson had indeed embraced Islam:

  • His older brother, Jermaine, has been a Muslim for the past 20 years and has spoken publicly about his faith. He reportedly talked to his brother about Islam and was hoping that he might convert. When announcing his brother's death, Jermaine commented, "May Allah be with you, Michael, always."
  • In 2005-06, Jackson spent nearly a year living in the Muslim country of Bahrain.
  • In November 2008, several news agencies reported that Michael Jackson had embraced Islam in a brief ceremony in Los Angeles. Both the Telegraph and NY Post tabloids ran stories about the conversion.
However, there are also signs that perhaps these assumptions are misleading. Several Muslims who were reported to be present or involved in Jackson's conversion process have recently made statements indicating that they did not attend any conversion ceremony, and indeed had never even met the singer.

The Canadian Muslim singer Dawud Wharnsby Ali posted on his blog the following clarification: "Though our professional circles did cross-over slightly with various common professional acquaintances - I never had the honour or pleasure of meeting Michael Jackson personally, nor did we ever correspond on matters of our professions, personal lives or faiths."

Singer Yusuf Islam (aka Cat Stevens) also posted a statement: "Contrary to persistent press rumours, I was not at any kind of conversion ceremony for Michael Jackson."

In the end, only God knows the intentions of people's hearts, and He Alone is the One to judge.

Jackson's family has taken his body to a private funeral home, are awaiting an independent autopsy, and arrangements for his burial are confidential at this time. Michael Jackson's recently-released will, dated in 2002, does not mention any burial wishes. If the family believes that Jackson was indeed a Muslim, then he would presumably be buried in an Islamic burial ceremony (janazah). Such plans are not known or announced at this time.

I believe Michael Jackson was indeed as muslim like Obama is, as much as he can be with his biases. I also think that M.J. was about 56 to 61 years of age when he passed. At the date of birth given, he was already at least 5, and utilized by Joe Jackson with the ‘Jackson 5′.

Ok, first for all, for all of those who have said that we shouldn’t pray for him..( ISHA ALI)..please!!!!!!!!!!!!! Forget Islam for a second, he WAS the number one entertainer. He WAS a legend. He WAS and STILL is the king of pop. Have some respect, it doesn’t matter if he was a jew, christian or muslim. AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE ARE ALL PEOPLE, BROUGHT ON EARTH, NONE OF US BORN A MUSLIM, JEW OR CHRISTIAN. IT IS USE WHO DECIDE. We have all been put on this earth as individuals. What he believed in was none of our business…if he was muslim, good. If he was a jew, good. If he was a Christian.. Good! His life, his choice.

Albatol Network – you do NOT have to show that you are muslim. you don’t show people you are practicing, you do it for YOURSELF and GOD. Not for others to view. You are doing it for God, Allah, Buddha,, whoever, not for others. It’s not a fashion contest.

Kamaluddeen Dahiru – you want to know whether he was a muslim or not so that you know whether to pray for him? LOL.. so, if he wasn’t a muslim, then you wouldn’t?? Please, that is very narrow minded… it doesn’t matter what religion you are… these religions exist because God created them..

SO what, only God, MJ and his family know whether he converted or not. Ok as his fans we want to know… BUT. seriously people. A legend died.

The memorial service shown on CNN was a service by his friends and fans. He is to have a private burial amongst family.. let him lie, whether he be a muslim, jew or christian. He was an extremely good person at heart. He was loving, caring, giving, and the rest. That is what matters. What’s the point of being a muslim, jew, christian and practicing but being a hypocrite and talking and doing miss deeds?

I am muslim.. and may GOD let Michael rest in peace. He is in a better place.

If you disagree, please feel free to message me. I am not looking for an argument. I just disagree with people who say that you have to be muslim, jew, christian in order to go to heaven.. thats bull.. its the person you are, how you are and what you do that counts.

God bless & Salaam.

Whatever you said is just so fantastic but i dont believe that any non-muslim will go to heaven considering even they did absolutely great things for mankind. All such people had vision, thoughts and everything a thoughtful human needs, If they couldn’t realize and seek the real GOD, they dont deserve to be in heaven at all….
If this universal system was being run under the very same concept which you discussed then where is the need for a religion? why Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) bear so much pain in persuading people to convert to the true religion ISLAM and to know the true GOD ALLAH!!!!
The prophet should have only asked and persuaded people to do right things instead, regardless of whoever they worship.
But Allah has bestowed everyone with a brain to think and nature to explore truth, so why shouldn’t people try themselves and find the true GOD????
and of course this is not an argument but an exchange of perception and knowledge!

(16) Ishamel says:

As christians we believe that a place in paradise belongs to those who accept Jesus as their payment for ANY and EVERY sin they have ever commited here on earth… This doesn´t make us intolerant but just faithful adherents to what the Bible actually says:

Jesus said “ I told you that you will die in your sins, if you do not believe that I am the one I claim to be, you will indeed die in your sins. (John 8:24)

He also said “ I tell you the truth that everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever . So if the Son sets you free , you will be free indeed.“
(John 8:35)

Jesus told us that because of these beliefs his followers will be persecuted just as he was because the world doesn´t want to hear that there are conditions to entering heaven..and those conditions are to be Sinless. !!… the problem is that we all have sinned and fall short of this standard which is why Jesus gave his sinless life for us all… Our choice is to accept or reject this truth…

As Jesus said also in John 11 “ I am the resurrection and the life . He who believes in me will live, even though he dies . “

Only God truly knows if Michael accepted this truth in his heart or not and it is not for us to judge where Michael is right now. Whatever his behaviour whether good or bad here on earth only God knows if his sins were paid in full when he finally stood in front of his heavenly father to give an account of his life….

For those that deny that Jesus is who he claimed to be please read the book of John in the Bible . And for those who claim the Bible has been corrupted , you are believing a lie. There is no historical foundations for such a claim. Read it for yourself and the father will reveal his truth to you.

The Bible has a clear warning for those that try to twist the truth of what he has said :

“ Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ . Such a man is the antichrist , he denies the Father and the Son. None who denies the Son has the Father but whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also. “ 1 John 2:22

I pray you will be blessed with peace , truth and the Love of God,,,

Salam everyone.

Yes i’m a muslim and proud to be one. This debate is really interesting.

@Samirah – you are right that only ALLAH is the one who knows the FULL TRUTH about each one of us. But i’m sorry i can’t agree that muslims, jews, christians, buddism is all created by GOD. Do you know hadiths? Sayings in Islam and in Quran. Here’s an Hadith – ALLAH swt has put outside the Heaven Door – LA ILLAHA ILLALA MUHHAMADUR RASUL ALLAH – THERE IS NO GOD BUT ALLAH AND MOHAMMED (p.b.u.h.) IS HIS MESSENGER! How can one enter the Heaven if people are believing not in this but in theories such as Son of God, Man-Made Statues Worshippers and Moses as the final prophet? Sorry sister only people who recite this LA ILLAHA ILLALA MUHHAMADUR RASUL ALLAH and truely practices Islam will be part of the MUSLIM UMMAH and be granted heaven. Everybody else who do good in this world will their good in this world but not in the hereafter.

@Waqas – agree completely with you brother!

@Ishamel – brother it is said in Islam that we Muslims have to accept Jesus (Prophet Issa in Islam) to accept Islam fully. So brother whatever OUR PROPHET Jesus (Issa a.s.) has preached, we Muslims do follow. Difference is in Islam we believe that there is NO GOD BUT ALLAH and HE has ONE MESSAGE and MANY MESSENGERS and in Christianity Jesus is regarded as SON of GOD which is there only because Jesus didn’t have a father and Mary was born a virgin. But brother how about Adam and Eve – that was a miracle of God as well. Woman coming from the spine of a Man!

At the end of the day brothers and sisters, GOD has created the heavens and the earth and each one of us will be JUDGED by HIM and yes we Muslims always make dua for the WHOLE HUMANITY but especially the MUSLIM UMMAH!

May ALLAH swt bless us all, those who have passed and those who are to pass…

(18) Samirah says:

Thanks everyone for the messages and replying back to me. Totally appreciate it and respect your views. Maybe I didn’t make myself clear… all I was trying to do was answer or give my views on the topics that have previously been talked about, e.g. ‘is MJ a muslim, let me know so I can pray for him’ and ‘he didn’t practice, or show that he is Muslim’ etc..
Like I said before, people don’t judge us, God does, so why show others you practice? You practice between you and God, not anyone else, so if MJ did practice in his home, then that’s good.

To be fair,I do not practice. You are free to judge, but please don’t. The sins won’t be on your side, they will be on mines. I just don’t understand how many (and I mean many) people can practice Islam, read the Qu’ran, fast, pray, give money to charity etc’ but all along are being hypocrite.. thats all. What is the point in that? It’s like your back on sqaure one again. Do a good deed and then erase it all again. Also, I don’t understand how Muslims can get so hyped up about it all and say that ‘if you don’t believe in Allah, you will go to hell’.. theorectially speaking, maybe that’s true or maybe your not. But there are other religions out there and they say the same thing aswell about other religions and beliefs. However, Christians don’t dwell so much on it. Muslims however do. They get all angry about it all. Who knows, sometimes I question if there is a hell or heaven or even a God. I know, some people reading this will be like ‘Wow.. that girl is not even a Muslim, she’s a non-believer, she will go to Hell’ .. Fair enough. But don’t worry I will not be taking you with me!

Christianity, Islam and Judaism – very similar religions. I have read all the holy books from each of those religions just to find out and give or take, some major differences but mostly similar ones. I’ve been to Israel and Palestine and very similar again. Faiths are everywhere. Very similar.

@ Waqas Lone – I partly agree with what you say… Actually what you said was very good. BUT if Allah was the true and only God, wouldn’t everyone be a Muslim by now? Ok, I know you’re going to say that ‘its a test and that is what distinguhes us from the believers and non believers’ BUT

Everyone was put on earth, to be tested against their actions. I don’t know, I wouldn’t disagree with you on what you have said but I wouldn’t agree. Other religions have been put out there as well and for you to say that only Allah is God and other non-believers is going to hell, well thats a bit biased isn’t it? Ok, maybe because I don’t practice, I can’t really say anything. I would RATHER be a good person, with a good heart, instead of practicing the religion and being a hypocrite. But if you are both (kind and practicing then well done, because there are not a lot of people out there who are)
See as Ishamel said: ‘As christians we believe that a place in paradise belongs to those who accept Jesus as their payment for ANY and EVERY sin they have ever commited here on earth’ . See? So in his eyes, because those don’t accept Jesus, will go to hell. It is the same in Islam right?

@ Adeel: Thanks and I made a mistake… when I said : You are doing it for God, Allah, Buddha,, whoever, not for others’ I didn’t mean literally, I meant it as a way of saying things, whoever MJ chose to believe in then thats his business.

Of course I know the hadiths. And yes when you said ”How can one enter the Heaven if people are believing not in this but in theories such as Son of God, Man-Made Statues Worshippers and Moses as the final prophet?” —> well thats their believe isn’t it? Who are we to say that what they believe is wrong? For all you know, Allah might be wrong. Jesus might be wrong etc. At the end of the day… religions causes most wars and arguments. I’m pleased you and Waqas have very strong views about Islam, thats really good and I really mean that. But you shouldn’t be so quick to judge and say that because Christians, jews, buddists don’t believe in Allah they will go to hell. I have to say that I know lots of people were Muslim and have converted because they feel more connected to God.. that does not make them sinner..

Also this is a fresh argument.. I am interested to know how can Muslims gracefully help and welcome people to Islam.. when people convert, but if a Muslim coverts to another religion then why all the hate and killing? Where does it say in the Qu’ran to kill non -believers.???

AND ADEEL: I agree with :”At the end of the day brothers and sisters, GOD has created the heavens and the earth and each one of us will be JUDGED by HIM ‘ and may I add only by him.. so whoever we believe in, we do not do it for others to see but we do it for the powerful.

(22) stopped going to church - samirah made me laugh says:

I wanted to know the truth more than i wanted to argue my beliefs. . .

samirah that was too funny. “run along now . . . ” i had to laugh. now i want to address a point that you made about hypocrites. i grew up in the Christian church and there are more than enough hypocrites in churches as well. BUT God is in the mix SOMEWHERE. the question is where. for me, i stopped going to church when i went to college. then, as an adult i got to the point that i REALLY wanted to know, with all the religions that there are, where in the world is God in this. so one day i just asked Him. i prayed to God to show me the truth. there are so many religions and factions within each religion – i just wanted to know the truth more than i wanted to hear people debate who is right and who is wrong in the religion question. when i asked, God began to show me. He doesn’t try to fool us and He doesn’t make it hard. if you ask Him, He will show you. when He shows you, you will not be able to deny it OR resist it. This is how you know if someone’s love of God is real. if someone just wants to prove to you how wrong your belief is more than they have an aching, intense desire for you to know who and what they know, i doubt if it’s genuine. i have had the most undeniable, incredibly supernatural journey since i prayed that prayer 15 years ago. God responds to your hunger. the hungrier you are to know the truth, the more He will feed you. the more you receive from God, the more you want others to know and experience His love. He is AWESOME. there is head knowledge and there is heart knowledge. you can have all the head knowledge that you want such as the archaelogical discoveries that have proven events and places and even people in the Bible (research biblical archaelogy) or the contemporary historians of Jesus such as Joseph Flavius that document His life and death – nd Flavius was NOT a Jesus follower – you can stuff your brain with the head knowledge but once you have an experience with Jesus, your beliefs cannot be swayed no matter what. compare the testimonies of Christian converts to the testimonies of muslim converts from any religion. many many converts have supernatural experiences with Jesus. most muslim converts only speak from head knowledge. once a person has had an experience with Jesus, he never doubts that Jesus is real and Jesus is Lord. even muhammad himself doubted whether his experiences were from God or the devil. in conclusion, when you are ready for more than a casual observation of God, ASK Him to show you the truth. i asked Him because I wanted to know the truth more than i wanted to argue my beliefs to prove my “rightness”. i wanted heaven and i didn’t want to believe a life. so even though i grew up Christian, i had doubts until Jesus showed me the truth in a multitude of ways after i prayed and asked God to show me where He was . . . .in Islam, Judaism, Christianity or somewhere else. i just wanted to know where. didn’t have to be right. anybody else want to know the truth MORE than you want to be right? put your pride aside and ask God. just be prepared to receive what He shows you. He is so AWESOME – words cannot relay to you how AWESOME His love for us is and how detailed He can be in relating to us. you have NOTHING to lose by just asking “God, where are you? Where do i find You?” He’ll show you that He was never lost. His been there all along waiting on you to ask.

Samirah – I almost never get into these types of discussions, but your thread got my interest. I’m a Muslim, and prior to accepting the faith, I had many thoughts and questions similar to yours. Islam doesn’t dissuade people from seeking out answers, so I encourage you to continue to do so. In fact, the fact that you have a desire to engage in dialog is an indicator that your mind is receptive to the truth – where ever you might happen to find it. Allah tells us that truth stands out clear from falsehood. I think so long as you continue to search, you will find the answers you are looking for.

Samirah your comments were amongst the sanest here. On the ranting of others – Whether one will end up in Heaven or Hell will not be known till Judgement day. Just saying the Kalma but spouting hatred on others – is this the signs of a sublime community which Allah calls upon you to be? Every Surah starts with the mention of Allah’s attributes of Mercy – and you as Muslims are called upon to borrow the ‘colour’ of Allah – so please learn to show more mercy and charitable view. Michael did great things during his life time, humanitarian services was his target. He saved many people from starvations, and sicknesses, he brought happiness to many people’s life. The voice of the people is the voice of GOD. THE WORLD LOVES HIM AND WE ALL MISSED HIM. I don’t normally respond to these posts, as I am in no way a Muslim at this point in my life, however from all that I know if Islam your statement seems shallow. muslims and the rest of us should mourn a death as a death, whether the human being was a muslim or not. he was still a person, with feelings and family just like the rest of us (Muslim or non Muslim). There is no reason to sit around and wait to find out if he was a Muslim to pray for his soul. There is no stipulation in praying only for islamic souls is there?
If so, then Islam is not what i thought it was….

Wow!! You guys are really making me change my mind about Islam…Allah is all knower and all forgiver, that means forgiveness and judgement will come from Allah and Allah alone. Not you guys… the best you can hope for is to be good enough people to pray for all mankind, give out your prayers in full force once someone passes. Allah will make final judgement, as humans and as Muslims… from what i understand all we can do is pray for others, and hope someone returns the favor!
The way you guys are talking is i think some of the reason why Islam has a bad rep. But if you want to show your faith then dont block out everyone that isnt muslim… because that is only going to dig you in a hole for your own judgement… or at least that is my opinion… but again. I’m not a muslim, i’m just very interested in Islam, and have been studying it for a couple years.I can safely say that i will never pray for someone because he is muslim, and I will never not pray for somone because he is not muslim.
That is what I call discrimination.

Almighty Allah will do it. But not only Micheal Jackson but also each of mankind need Islam for his salvation. If Micheal Jacksons realy reverted to Islam it is good for him. Almighty Allah will not reduce anything from Micheal Jackson’s account. Allah is All Knowing.

Contrary to what people of any religion think, it is impossible for a human to be 100% certain about any of their beliefs – the nature of all human knowledge depends on our senses and reasoning powers, both of which are prone to errors, even with the best will in the world. If God is searching for those who wanted to know the truth, he will not necessarily pick those who decided to simply accept what society told him to believe (whether he is born in an Islamic, Christian or Hindu society) – he might be more likely to pick a heretic, as at least that person was searching for the truth and was prepared to go against society in his bid to find it. In fact, that’s what all the prophets did.

(36) michelle says:

“may allah be mercifull open him if he was a muslim ”

this is the attitude alot of you seem to have… my point is one person does not need to be a muslim as Allah or God sees what in all of our hearts. So to be a person who doesnt pray for someone, or doesnt hope Allah be merciful on someone just becuase he or she is not a muslim makes no sense to me.
Most of you keep saying things like “may Allah be merciful on him if he was a muslim” or “we are waiting to find out if he was a muslim to pray for him” seems shallow and disrespectful. Your Quran does talk about a certain “peoples of the book” does it not?
Well why dont you heed that? Do you not understand that your religion actually asks you to pray and be kind and helpfull to all walks of life.. not just Muslims.
Some of you guys were obviouly born into this religion without fully comprehending what it means. Just like any other religion, some of you pick out the parts you want to believe in and disregard teh rest. But Allah will see this when you are judged, just remember that.
Non-Muslims are people too, we were all created by God adn we will all be judged at one point. You should embrace your faith, because its a good one. Just keep in mind to be respectful of others, no matter what they believe in, or say they believe in. My grandmother is a devout christian and has lived her life by the Old Testament. Non of you are going to ever convinve me that she isnt going to go to heaven just because she never converted to Islam… come on! I refuse to believe Allah is that cruel. and I will not beleive it until Allah himself shows me on the day I am judged.
That being said, Islam is a truely beautiful Religion, and I’m seriously thinking of converting, but it completely changes my mind when I hear Muslims being so bias, disrespectful and sometimes outright hateful towards other religions and human beings in general. To me, it contradicts what I feel Islam is all about, and I do not want to be a part of any of that. So thanks for showing me a side of Islam i never considered… probably because you’re thoughts are cultural or things your parents tought you, and not really from the Quran itself.
Some of you should be ashamed of your outlook on other human beings… but that may be a Jihad you need to take to learn and grow. I hope some of you will seize the opportunity.
I agree with Salim that the major religoins have too many things in common to be excluded, and bashed. Your own religoin tells you to respect and support these religiouns, so why dont you?

(37) Samirah says:

Hahaha, this is too funny!! But thanks for the people who took their time to contribute (that’s only for those with positive and open minded views – the rest… well…)

@Salim : thanks for the support.. don’t often get it because i think too openly but one day I’ll get there! And haha way to go, I totally agree with what you said.

@ stopped going to Church : Thank you! I will definately look into it because I am interested. It helped. I knew grew amongst Christians and Muslim (In Palestine AND America) and honestly, the Christians looked and sounded much more happier. Many thanks again.

@ Abdur Rahim : Thanks. Abdur Rahim, you know this is really hard as I am distracted a lot and when I read people’s views and thoughts I want to question them. Just so that I understand and it makes it clearer. I am not going against any religion, I just have some questions. I am happy that you have found faith and comfort in Islam. I Know people will say that I am not a muslim, i am haram by discussing these. I just have questions and I am trying to find myself.. and God, what is so wrong with that? But thanks for your answer and support.

@ Mohammad A : That’s BS. I have never heard of that. EVER. But I respect your views and opinions. But please feel free to show me that every Child was born as a Muslim it is their Parents that converted them. Please support this.

@ Hussainat: I agree. :) He was a legend and a good person and it is God who judges, so why do others judge others when they speak their mind and want to find answers?

@ Michelle: Thanks for your answers. And I have to say I kind of angree with you. I find it so irritating when people like Bashir Bello and Isha Ali say that they will pray for only those who are Muslim. Thats the biggest crap ever. You are right. Whatever he was, I still prayed for him. When you said :
‘But if you want to show your faith then dont block out everyone that isnt muslim… because that is only going to dig you in a hole for your own judgement’ –I agree 100%. Most Muslims believe that they are right and others who are non Believers of Allah will go to hell. I also find that quite irritating. And they will argue with you like mad, but at the end of the day, you choose, how does that affect others about what religion you choose? If your wrong, your wrong, but they are very strong minded and won’t let anyone express their views and are very quick to judge. I have already been told that I am not Muslim (fair enough) all because I have questions that I want answered. However, because they are ‘true’ muslims, they don;t question. They just do. Well whatever comes naturally to them I guess.

@ Diarmuid : Contrary to what people of any religion think, it is impossible for a human to be 100% certain about any of their beliefs – the nature of all human knowledge depends on our senses and reasoning powers, both of which are prone to errors, even with the best will in the world. In fact, that’s what all the prophets did – WELL SAID. I like the way to think.

@ Michelle: You said ‘probably because you’re thoughts are cultural or things your parents tought you, and not really from the Quran itself’. You are very right. This is what they have been taught when they were little and thus resulting to stupid views and really not opening up to other views and religions. I am sorry that you feel like you don’t want to be part of Islam (convertion), but do carry on researching, some Muslims are not like that. I am still looking and questions my ‘beliefs’ and have often felt secure with the Bible. But thats just my view. :)

There are some clues that perhaps Michael Jackson had indeed embraced Islam:

•In 2005-06, Jackson spent nearly a year living in the Muslim country of Bahrain.

(40) michelle says:

Thanks Samirah, I appreciate the support…
I will not stop researching, and really, its been my experience that most muslims are not like that. Its just discouraging to see when they have such a beautiful faith.
Personally, my grandmothers faith in God is what brought me to check into other religions. and from my experience, Catholisism (my “religion”) does not support questioning of faith. i was kicked out of Sunday school every other week (permanately in some cases i had to go to another church) becuase I’ve never believed that “Christ” was the son of god.. i still dont to this day and i can seriously say i never will… unless God himself tells me so. The way i see it, yes he was a prophet, but God was no more his father than he is mine. And the other issue i have is that someone can kill and rob, and then walk into a church and become a preist, but as a Woman i cant. even if i live my life by the book. What makes those guys so special? lol that was rhetorical. But i ahve issues with my religion, but at the same time my Grandmother has the power of God behind her and she lives her life serving others and praying daily for others. No one will ever convince me she isnt going to heaven b/c she isnt muslim. People dotn seem to understand that youcan be a Catholic or Hindu and live like a muslim, but not be one.
I guess its just some people are so into their beliefs that nothing can taint their minds, which is a good thing in a way, but seriously detrimental in others. Especially when their thoughts are negative in relation to other human beings, and life as a whole. It’s quite a shame! But they should be looking inside to find forgiveness and stop being so disrespectful. it seems to me that some Muslims seem to thing they can convert others by telling them that only muslims go to heaven, and maybe that’s how they keep their own faith. But God will judge them when the time comes, i jsut thought it a good idea to point it out, so those people can work on themselves and begin their service to others.

Samirah – “I am still looking and questions my ‘beliefs’ and have often felt secure with the Bible. But thats just my view” I just wanted to commend you for that, and myself i’ve often felt secure and loved in my religion, but there are things Catholisism cannot answer and refuses to do so. But i also think that my love of some parts of the bible is what brings me to Islam, it supports the same beliefs (whether muslims see it of not!) but also provides answers. Had i not been given the shaft when i was young i might still be a hardcore catholic. My throughout my teenage years i asked God for guidance and understanding, and help finding a religion that i can believe and flourish in…of course i also asked for a man that is sensitive and loves kids, my child specifically.. It took years but my prayer was answered with the insert of my (now) boyfriend Ahmad into my life. He is a muslim, and has his faults, but he is extremely understanding of my beliefs and supports my decisions. At times he can break out the “only muslims go to heaven thing” but i keep reminding him that’s what his father told him! and he realizes that muslims arent going to heaven for sure just cause they are muslim. you have to be much more than a muslim to get into heaven, and in the end you end up a superior being from within, muslim or no muslim.

Salam Alaikum,
Why is everyone fighting over his faith? why is everyone judging him? its not up to any of us to judge anyone….as for going to heaven or hell, that is up to Allah swt, not anyone here.
Not all muslims will go to heaven.
Praying for someone whether they are muslim or not doesnt take anything away from you. Your good intentions for everyone will get you closer to going to heaven.

MJ never hurt any of you, instead he made you happy with his music otherwise you wouldnt be fighting over him now. So what harm could praying for him do to you?

I am sad by reading some of these posts. People waiting to find out his religion before they could say a prayer is just DUMB!
Islam is a very loving religion, please dont embarass the rest of us muslims with your silly comments.
Does the muslim world need MJ to be muslim?????? what difference does it make to any of you if he was or wasnt?!?!?!
you people need to spend your time praying and worshiping allah than wasting it here talking about someone else’s religion.

With host of other mysteries, MJ has left behind a hotly debated question about his faith.

The world is at a loss to understand that as to why MJ did not go to perform Hajj or Umra during his long stay of one year at Bahrain. That could have been a decisive moment and testimony. His hosts in Bahrain did this great blunder to bring MJ professing Islam to its ultimate finality because no non muslim can enter into the peripherry of Holy Mecca or Madina.

(45) Salim says:

Zari – Great comment

Michelle – “I asked God for guidance and understanding” – that’s the core of it. There is no god but God – who is always Hearing, Aware, Responsive. The word ‘Muslim’ has been usurped as a label. If one reads the Quran with care, it is clear that the word ‘Muslim’ denotes anyone who surrenders to God (thus all the Prophets – Abraham, Moses, Jesus – are called Muslims). So, any member of Humanity who surrenders himself to doing right (which is after all surrendering to God) is a ‘Muslim’ and conversely any person who consciously strays from the right is an Ingrate or ‘Kafir’. So it is by one deeds you are at times a ‘Muslim’ or a ‘Kafir’. We can only hope and pray in the ultimate balance our deeds label us as Muslim! Don’t dwell on labels (Catholic, Muslim etc.). I admire people like your Grandmother (“Grandmother has the power of God behind her and she lives her life serving others and praying daily for others”) even if she does not have the label of ‘Muslim’ (perhaps in the eyes of Allah/God she is just that – a ‘Muslim’ by courtesy of her deeds). Our suspicions of others have become ingrained due to cultural baggage that comes with the labels of Muslim, Hindu, Catholic, Protestant, Jew. If we as Muslims paid more attention to our own Deeds and helping others with compassion (I am saying nothing new – its already there in the Quran!), perhaps by God’s grace we will be able to wipe out the misconceptions we have about each other. Always keep seeking guidance from Allah/God – there is no one more close or more ABLE.

That mJ died a muslim or not,and is of global concern shows the legendary status of the man while on earth. However samirah’s comment and those of others in her support or against her shows how shallow the knowledge of a lot of people about Islamic concepts of the essence of life, the paradise and humanity.

Islam never places emphasis only on the proclamation of the kalimah but on its essence which would have helped educated samirah that consciousness of the essence of the Kalimah will moralise the life of the adherents of the religion.Islam remains the most practical and total religion that addresses the unification of body and soul in the acts of men.Actions are to be judged by intentions. There are no places for hypocrites(Munafikun–see a whole cahpter that condemns munafikun). That people act against a law does not destroy the essence of the law.

As for entry into paradise, samirah and her supporters should understand that the knowledge of man is less than the weight of an atom when compared with that of God. If only percieved good acts are tcikets to paradise then there will be conflicts as there are no universally acceptable moral standards globally given the multiple of culttures world over.religion becomes the only universally acceptable standard ways to measure people.islam is however more united in determine what is right and what is evil. The knowledge of who enters paradise is with Allah from his mercies.

As for public display of faith, action will definately be judged by intention. Not all public acts are hypocritically as no one learns from what is good if it is hidden. And Allah says He has knowledge of what is hidden and what is revealed.

Let samirah continues are search but should search in appropriate quaters with an open mind after all Allah says He reveals himself to one who searches for the truth.he even challenged such people who are in doubt to produce an ayat and invoke the name of what they worship unto it. Allahu allam

Those people have a tendancy to not speak up sometimes when needed.. I hope I didnt offend anyone, my intention was to let you see yourselves in a different light, so you can then improve on your actions, or words behind them. In what i’ve learned of Islam isnt that Muslims hold their own and fend for themselves, but the opposite. I just wish everyone who calls themselves a Muslim would see that and look inside, or to Allah, for strength and guidance in dealing with the rest of the world.

Firstly I would say what an interesting argument. However, I agree with Samirah. Not everyone is born a muslim, maybe that is what muslims have been taught since they were little. I think this is a question of what you have been taught or read. However, I certainly do not accept non muslims are born muslim. In the bible it says nothing of that sort, so please do not aspire on it.

Michelle and Samirah are both right. Some of you are EXTREMELY narrow minded and don’t accept other faiths and belief and think that everyone else is wrong.

It is YOU that is narrow minded. All you believe is that you are right and others are all wrong, Islam is the way forward, Islam is the best, Islam is the way to get to heaven. I can say the same about Christianity. However, unlike you muslims, we do not boast. We LISTEN to other religions and are not selfish.

I wonder why SO many muslims convert to other religions each year, mainly CHRISTIANITY.

This says a lot don’t you think. Do some research please before you start to ‘PITTY’ us.

from begining of every revelation we know there is God and He created all that is in the heaven and the earth and created man in a good form and comanded man to worship HIM alone.we all know that man is a forgetfull creature and tends to do things that satisfies him rather than wat is right, so wit passage of time people started losing there way from the actuall guidance of submiting to God and thanking Him alone hence, prophets were sent to reminnd people to submit themselves to God alone and do things to please Him and that there is a reward or punishmant for everything they do and every soul is responsible for himself.and as we all know it is not easy to give up our desires and have rules guiding ur conducts and action hence, some rejected the message.each prophet came to a group doing something wrong and tried to guide them and each has a distinguishing quality, noah has patience, david was devouted and ibrahim was sincere and steadfast.
all the revelations were like chains of reactions adressing problem as they occur, we cant say man woke up one day and started practising every wrong habits we have now!it started gradually and each revelation addresed that problem and the one before it.
so when all these prophets came they came wit thessame message of worshiping God and guidance against evil.this chain continued to jonah, musa isa and finally muhammadSAW before it was complete.that is why the concept of islam is not just accepting muhammadSAW but all the prophets because they all form a complete picture when together.the teachings of islam is perfect because it pertains to all aspects of life by mixin the spiritual intellectual andphysical together.the quran tell stories of ancient people some that were destroyed and some that were succesfull to show us that there is punishment and reward it is not just theory.it contains guidelines on how it is our responsibility to take care o ur self,ur family ur neighbor ur comunnity urcountry and it also tells us how to do the most important thing which is worship God and trust and depend on him.and to make us know that all this things can be done the prophet pbuh was blessed by having all those noble characters and acting on them and having a good result.all the previous prophets did not bring a complet message to manking or a complet way of life example u cant learn about leadership and strategy from ibrahim because he was never a commander or how to treat ur wife and children from isa or jesus because he did not get married, but muhhamanSAW was sent wit Quran that answers all question and taught it by practicing it so wat ever problem u come accros wen u look in the quran or hadith u find a solution.so islam which means peace finalises all the message and does not accept rejection of the previous prophets and it give a complete guideline.all u have to do is study it directly from the source {quran and hadith}not from the people u c around.
our problem now is we all make religion conform to ways of our culture and that sends a negative message but we all know if u want to find out about something u go to the right source.i cant just close my eyes and say all americans are slim because all the adverts or movies i c have size zero models,if i want to find out the truth i am sopposed to go and do a census or something to have concrete evidence.
i believe that the reason why people are asking for evidence to know if mj was a muslim so that they can pray for him is because in the story of ibrahim from the Quran,he said to his father that he will pray to his lord to forgive him and guide him and he kept his promise even after the death of his father until it was revealed unto him not to because only Allah knows or decides what to do wit the person who reject so to do otherwise will be going against the command.
may God guide us to right path, not of those who have earned his displeasure nor of those who have gone astray.

Almighty Allah Said. O you who believe Obey Allah and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority and if you differ in anything amongst yourselves, refer it Allah and his messenger (meaning refer to Quran and Hadiths) if you believe in Allah and the last day.Islam is religion that guides human bieng with proof and not in your own opinion.
E.T Williams whatever you said is ok by me because the original text of your religion has been polluted and changed and that is why you have different version of bibles. The name Bible is not in the bible but the name Quran appears more than 27 times in the Quran.

(83) A-Muslim says:

Samira – Can I just say it is funny to read that you ask people on this forum for proof that in Islam it says we are all born muslims but take a different path/religion thereafter and when Mohammaed/Aliyu provide proof you insult them! I don’t see either of these people insulting you so you should at least respect what they have to say even if you don’t believe in this.

It’s a well know fact that this is what ‘majority’ of Muslims believe which is why when when a person ‘converts’ to Islam we don’t call them a ‘convert’ but a ‘revert’ to indicate that they are reverting back to Islam. It’s no use mentioning hadith or verse’s from the Quran to back this up for you as you have already dispelled this evidence.

It may help you to understand that to be a ‘Muslim’ is to give 100% devotion to our creator (we call him Allah and he has 99 other names and other people call him God). Now as our creator gives the soul into the baby whilst it is in the womb, the soul/baby does not know anything other than other creator and therefore has 100% devotion to him. This is another reason why we say that all is born as a Muslim.

Again agree/disagree with me as our creator gave us the free will to do so but I just wanted to make this point. I hope I haven’t insulting anyone so accept my apologies if I have unintentionally.

would all muslims pray for all humans?
if dajjal is a man would u pray for him?
would u pray for hitler? he suscribed to his views- should we judge him?

there needs to be a perpective set here.

this argument is totally off track. there are people who have died and are dying who really deserve your prayers. countless people working hard day in day out in the “third world” – without recognition or fame.

Samira you remind me of those youtube vidoes of fake ex-muslims who suddenly “found the answers to all their questions”. How dare you mock the religion of islam. You say you rather not practice than be a hypocrite, thats so funny because you say your a muslim but dont even believe in the basic principles of islam. You are fake, only here to stir fitna. Maybe you are just jahil (arrogant) I suggest you study about islam more before making false accusations about what is islam is about. As muslims we know that the doors to heaven is closed for any disbelievers, we know that we are all born muslims and then we choose from our “free whill”. How can you say the disbelivers who are constantly insulting allah by associating others with or besides allah subhanutalah, should go to heaven. Whats wrong with you girl. In a authentic hadith it was narriated that the difference between a beliver and a non-beliver is the one that does the salat. Of course they have to know that they are required to do the salat. Which world are you living in thinking its all about love and peace. Where do you see peace in this world? how can you be in peace when your loved ones are leaving you, how can you be in peace where there is unjustice amongst people going on in this world……… simple: this is all a test. If you are a believer you will know this. The reward for passing this test is unlimited bounty from allah, where you will abode in heaven and true “peace”

May Allah guide you and us all.

the essence of islam is about the ONENESS of God… everything else is irrelevant.. the hardest part of becoming a muslims is believing in that unanimity.. we who are born into islam have it thrust upon us, but if people like MJ and others in this forum, seek it, then im sure, God will be the judge of their faith.. for its much harder to make ur self believe in something contrary to everything u have been brought up with.. Whatever his funeral may have been like, his life may have been like… he spread a message of love, compassion, hope and innocence…. and to be honest.. God doesnt judge man till the end of his days, so how can we?? what if he had said the sha-hada on his death bed? even if he didnt his belief in the Oneness of God is a far greater achievement, as he came from a culture where he was INVINCIBLE, he didnt need to believe in a higher power, he was MICHEAL JACKSON.. YET he did attempt to seek it.. after all as muslims we are told to seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave… let GoD judge..! and just pray for yourselves…

(91) michelle says:

WOW!!! I HAVE AN AKA!! yay! i’ve always wanted an alternate name… anywho…
Samirah, thanks again for your support.
But I agree name calling wont get any of us anywhere. We all really need to start being compassionate to others, and respecting other peoples beliefs..
Jesus said “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you” and i’m a firm beleiver of this. Thanks Isa.
However it is frustrating that some people here are so closed minded. Of course your religion tells you that one will not get into heaven if your not muslim, and way to go on beleuiving that… however you need to understand or at least have respect for other religions as they also state the same.
Chirstianity tells us one will not go to heaven if not baptised christian.. so to each his own. We can only do what we feel is right for ourselves and our family. And yes, i believe sharing your faith with people is a wonderful thing, conversations are a wonderful thing, it’s just a shame to have someone else’s religion pushed or forced upon you then when you have questions about it, that same religion tells you to believe it or you wont go to heaven.
Christianity does tell you this, but this is yet another eason i cant believe in it, i was under the impression Islam does not, i was under the impression islam is understanding and patient and compassionate and respectful of other true religions (ie. people of the book… remember them?) but not all the congregations that stem from said religions, or made up religions (like scientology). I guess I was wrong about that.
I am not a muslim, nor do i pretend to be one, but i have been trying to study it for a couple years now in my search for the light.
Before i came onto this site i was just about convinced. but now that i see that Muslims really degrade other religions and tell people you wont go to heaven if your not muslim, and you wont be prayed for if your not muslim, well thats just wrong to me and i will not have any part of it.
Its a shame that questioning people come to sites like these looking for answers when all they seem to get is told they arent going to go to heaven unless they are muslim, well thats sounding like a form of christinatity to me and as such, i’m now going to turn my researching to a more productive, considerate, compassionate, respectful religion. I guess islam is not for me, i’m not hateful enough.

Im glad i found your guys’ attitdes before i converted! thanks for showing me the trueness of a muslim… greatly appreciated… now i see the truth.

Ps… Michael Jackson did not convert, all these rumors are just that.. Rumors. In Michaels will he said he wanted teh kids to be raised of in a prodestant household with his mother. why woudl he want this if he was muslim? why not raise the kids with Jermaine in a muslim household? Oh thats right… tis cause he was prodestant… as was his funeral and his last wishes for his children… sorry to disappoint… i guess all you muslims that have been holding off on praying for him need wait no longer. just forget about him and move on to the next muslim you can actually pray for.

lOOk at the comment ’39′. Living in Muslim country could be a very good reason for somebody to convert. Do some research and see how people are becoming Muslims.

Samirah (the insane/Fraud) says ‘ livindgin a country does not make you convert to that religion. Samirah says he/she lives in christian country and she has not become christian. THINK and you will find that she/he is not even a Muslim so what does it make her (convert) or even worse!!!

DON’t waste time read =ing her stupid comments. She does not have a religion and even if she was a Muslim, living in non-Muslim country made her loos her faith. IT MAKES A HUGE IMAPCT.

Brothers and Sisters in Islam, i’ve been reading through this blog, and while doing so have come across many misunderstandings and misconceptions and some of you have gone about doing things in the wrong manner. You have mislead or better, not fully explained certain issues to many people who will read this.

I may not be the best of muslims or even a good one at all but deep within my heart i know that Allah is out there, and no doubt most of the muslims of today including myself are only muslims by name we do not practice Islam the way it should be because we are weak in this time and age.

but thats not why ive posted here, my main concern is that you have turned a soul away from the light (the way in which some of you muslims reacted was unethical). Michelle i totally understand were you are comming from, i have relized your aim of this “activity” if you’d call it, like you i too have a very enquiring mind and have searched and questioned all my life about matters concerning the righteous path but ive always come up with the same conclusion. The problem is today you dont know who to believe, so search within for answers or unless if you got a good trustworthy source. Pretend that you do not know any thing about any of the religions, ask yourself questions and answer them using the different religions as your sources i garantee you that islam will give you the most sensible answers not only that, it will answer why and how the other religions have answered the same question. Islam is a way of life.

Islam is not like how you now perceive it to be, dont believe what others have said they havent explained to you in detail. So if youve got any questions please ask me, i will try my best to explain in detail and if i cannot i will lead you to trusted sources.

My email: m.sahebdawray@gmail.com

I’ll be waiting to hear from you. May allah guide you….Inshallah

btw. people its not for us to question weather or not mj was a muslim or not its between him and allah… dont questin it … u’ll be answerable on the day of judgement… You believe what you want let others believe what they want…

Samira, I agree with you. God is the judge of all of us, if he decides to put someone in heaven because of the good deeds he’s done on earth, he will and can. What if a person is not muslim but saves a child’s life, what if a person is not muslim but helps people and do good on earth, then God will punish them after they’ve done so much good on earth.
I don’t believe in that at all, god is just. I believe Michael is in heaven even without becoming muslim, he’s done so much good on earth, and his heart was good. God judges us according to our hearts and niya.

many people have the mis conception that prophet muhammed p.b.u.h is the founder of the religion of islam infact islam is there since times in memorial it s there since man put there on the earth and holy quran says in surah fatir ch.35 : v.24″there is not a nation or a tribe to whom we have not sent a warner or a guide”
quran says in surah Ra’ad ch.13 : v.7 “and to every nation we have sent a warner”
but by name only 25 messenger’s are mention in the quran for example adam, moses, solomon, jesus, muhammed p.b.u.h them all but accroding to the qotation of our loved prophet muhammed p.b.u.h there were more then one hundred and twenty four thousand messenger were sent on the face of the earth the quran says in ch.40 : v.78 “we relate to you the srories of some of the messenger’s of the oother’s we dont” that means some messenger’s of Allah s.w.t has been mention in the holy quran and the others have not been mention all the messenger’s of Allah s.w.t of GOD AL mighty that came before prophet muhammed p.b.u.h they were only ment for particular group of people they were sent for only particular grouup of people and the message with they broad was only ment for for the particular time period it was not till iternity the holy quran says that moses p.b.u.h he was only sent for the childern of israel the quran says in surah al imran ch.3 : v.49 “jesus p.b.u.h was sent as a messenger for childern of israel ” he was only sent for the jews a similar message is given in bible in gospel of metthew ch.10 : v.5-6 go he not in to the way of gentiles but rather go into the house of lost sheep of israel” who the gentiles non jews jesus christ p.b.u.h said in bible it is mention in gospel of metthew ch.15 : v.24 “i have not sent but the lost sheep of israel” soo jesus christ p.b.u.h was only sent for the jews bt the holy quran says surah Ahzab ch.33 : v.40 ” Muhammed (p.b.u.h) is not the father of any of your men but (he is) the Messenger of Allah , and the seal of the prophet’s: and Allah has full knowledge of all things” the holy quran says that prophet muhammed p.b.u.h is the last and final messenger of Allah s.w.t quran says in srah al Ambiyah ch.21 : v.107 “We have sent thee not, but as a mercy for all creatures.” the prophet Muhammed was not sent only for the muuslim or for the arab’s he was sent to the whole of humen kind Quran says in surah saba ch.34 : v.28 “We have have not sent thee but as a (Messenger) to all the mankind giving them Glad tidings, and warning them (against sin) , but most men know not.” since the holy quran says that Prophet Muhammed p.b.u.h is the last and final Messenger of Allah s.w.t and he was send for the whole of humen kind .

I really dont understand how people can just come out and explain themselfs in the name of islam when they clearly dont know their own religion! people do you know that it is haram to even listen to music(clearly in quran and in many ahades). How can sister samirah praise MJ about him being a fab pop star legendary and for this we should pray for him. And we shouldnt stop our selfs praying for him due to the fact that he might had not been a muslim! This is not a reason my dear to pray for him! know ur religion! plus another fact WE ARE ALL BORN AS MUSLIMS..I can not believe sister samirah has said we are not born as muslims! we are my dear, we are all born as muslims (read in your religion or go to mosques and look in to this I was once ignorent and didnt know also). After we are all born as muslims we continue if we are bought up my muslim family we also start to use our heads and contine to read and follow. Or if some bought up by non muslims then they are taught by their parents their belifes until otherwise one changes and become a muslim or what ever. but in fact we are all born as muslims hun.

Because I love him so much and I stongly believe that he was such a good hearted man and he suffered alot from this evil media and money grabber people in the show buss.( even in his family)I want him die on true faith because I believe the hereafter like other muslims and I want him to find peace and ALLAH’s mercy in his grave.Of course his convert does not help me or Islam does not benefit from his conversion but He may save his soul and May ALLAH forvgive his sins (and ours). This the only thing he needs now not his funs or his music or his dance is only ALLAH ‘s mercy and our Prays. There is nothing wrong with willing someone to die muslim if you are muslims.ALLAh knows the best

I also believe his family never give him muslim burial because they are strong believer of Christinaty so It wold be so stupid to wait for an islamıc bruialfor him.Beside that the people killed him never let it happen. The tribute in july never shows his real faith it was just a show for the world and media .MJ is dead he can’t say anything about his faith so it is the decision of his family. But I believe that if he was muslim ( I believe that he was) no matter what kind of ceremony he had ALLAH may mercy on him because ALLAH the greatest FORGIVER ( I wish He had an islamıc burial but it is impossible)

I’m just pointing out things here. Don’t be quick to judge and after reading Samirah’s comments, she never mentioned that… ” How can sister samirah praise MJ about him being a fab pop star legendary and for this we should pray for him. And we shouldnt stop our selfs praying for him due to the fact that he might had not been a muslim!”. You have MISUNDERSTOOD. She was saying that some people have asked if he is muslim so that they can pray for him if he is. She said that it doesn’t matter if he is muslim or not, he is a legend. She said it doesn’t matter what religion someone is, if its your wish to pray for him/her then you can do. She never said we should pray for him because he is a legend.

Just pointing this. This is where this get all wrong and people become rude. They don’t read things properly.

(120) Amalia says:

MJ is Muslim

Michael Jackson (MJ) was known as the most loving person in the world. He gave up most of his assets for charity and all his life, he fought for equality of the African Americans, AIDS victims, Against Drug Abuse, Against Abortion, Against Child Labor and secretly channelled his properties for the hungry children of the world. However, he wasn’t peace at heart. He always think of himself as a child trapped inside a man’s body. Being Peter Pan is all his dream, never to grow up, forever a child. That inspires him to build Neverland – a heaven for children. Children of all ages and races are welcomed to Neverland. MJ had so much love to give.

However, he made a mistake which he didn’t know of the consequences. He saw the peaceful life his brother, Jermaine (Muhammad Abdul Aziz) had as a Muslim – true, Jermaine faced so much pressure that he moved to Bahrain.

In 1989, MJ made a p ress conference which shocked the world, “I have seen the Islam in the life of my brother, I have read the books about Islam. And I’d love to someday feel the calmness and peace of Islam….”

Since that, MJ’s life was never the same again.
He was accused of so many accusations against child molestation. MJ was not someone who can deal with much pressure as he is a ‘delicate child’. All the extortion and black mail followed after that. Everything he did was being seen as wrong in the eyes of the Media. All these are to influence his fans to hate MJ. If he is hated, then he would not be influencial anymore.

For several years, he stayed in England. Getting motivation from a long time friend, Cat Stevens, who had converted into Islam – named Yusuf Islam. From him, MJ learnt how Yusuf had survived being Muslim. He made friends with a song writer, Zain Bhikha too, who wrote a song titled, “GIVE THANKS TO ALLAH”, which he wanted MJ to sing whenever he is ready.

Following his trial, MJ withdrew to Bahr ain, where he was the special guest of sheik Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the son of Bahrain’s king. It was then that Michael began to give conversion more “serious thought.”
MJ stayed in Bahrain for approximately 3 years. He studied Islam, the prayers and learn to read the Koran (al-Quran).

Finally, he came back to Los Angeles and in November 2008 MJ had formally converted to Islam in a ceremony at a close friend’s house in Los Angeles.
He perform Haj with the King of Bahrain and son on December 2008.

He had a hidden agenda when he wanted to make a final comeback. He annouced in a press conference on March 2009, “This will be my final concert. I’ll see you all in July….”
He planned that during his concert, he would announce that this is the FINAL concert as he wouldn’t be performing anymore. He will declare that he is a Muslim and will only sing with Yusuf Islam and Friends.
At the end of the concert, he will be singing the song, “GIVE THANKS TO ALLAH” with Yusuf Islam. That is the reason why he chose London as his final concert venue instead of the USA. It was because he thought he could escape the USA’s extortion, and that he could perform with yusuf Islam who is in England.

At 12.30am, 25th June 2009, he hugged his production manager and said, “After reherasing for 2 months, I am finally ready for the concert…”
Before leaving to sleep, he waved his dancers, “It was a good night everyone. I’ll see you all tomorrow…”
The next thing… He was pronouced dead at 2.26am….

When 911 was called, there are so much questions asked. It is as if they didn’t know who MJ is and where he lived. The questions asked are more towards to delay time.
The hospital said the autopsy result can only be obtained after 2 months – very illogical as even the worst African technology could obtain the result in less than 2 weeks.

MJ’s family members opt for second private autopsy as they started to feel something fishy is going on. The result ca me out in about 4 days – MJ was drugged with high dosage of anaesthetic – drug that brings about a reversible loss of consciousness, if used to much could stop the heart from beating.

Another result which was not aired in the media was, MJ’s stomach is empty of this drug, but his blood were filled with it – same case as the death of Marilyn Monroe.
The private doctors also found many needle marks, afraid to be forced injections given to MJ on his bed.

In CNN Live after a week, Barack Obama was interviewed. And he said, “I love MJ, I grew up listening to his songs. It is a great loss, but rest assured that there is no conspiracy in his d eath…”
Now, why must a President made such statement before the official autopsy result came out? How would he know that there is no conspiracy without the post-mortem result? Seems like someone is afraid of his shadows.

MJ was known to the world as a person who is against drug abuse. Why must he be addicted to drug, then? If he wanted to commit suicide, why rehearse for his concert? And why will he want to see his dancers the next day?

Enough about his death. I am sure people around the world is not stupid anymore. These supreme power can fool us during the Marilyn Monroe conspiracy, Martin Luther King and Princess Diana. But in this MJ’s case, they left too many loopholes for those who think…!!

MJ’s family was about to give him a Muslim burial with the help of The Brotherhood of Islam. But, the CIA showed up at Neverland’s door – blackmailed them that if they do so publicly, Katherine (MJ’s mother) would be pull off from MJ’s 3 children’s custody as well as MJ’s estates. Instead, they’ll hire Debbie Rowe for the purpose, and the court will be in their favour. So much for democracy and fairness…

Finally, they agreed to let MJ have a Muslim Burial in Neverland. But in condition, must show to the public a Christian Memorial Service, as to prove to the world that MJ was nev er a Muslim.

So, Staples Centre was jus t a normal show. That’s why the coffin was closed and sealed.

MJ was buried days earlier. The Gold Coffin was empty. They were about to bury the Coffin according to Christianity ways in Hollywood – as in their deal with the USA Government.

These happened, because the USA is afraid of the rising numbers of Muslims in the world

If he was a muslim its good for him. If not he has wasted his life in this world.Dont we know that music is haram in islam.Imam IbnTaymiyyah said, “Listening to music and sinful fun are among what strengthens the satanic ways the most. This is exactly what the disbeliever’s used to do. Allaah said, And their prayer at the House (of Allaah) was nothing but Muka ‘an and Tasdiyah.
Any singing with any instrument is Haram and the scholars are unanimous on this. Therefore, Muslims must be aware of it. The Prophet said, “From among my nation there will be those who render as lawful adultery, silk (for men), AI-Khamr (alcohol) and musical instruments.” [Al-Bukhari].
I advise you all to read the Qur’aan and keep remembering Allaah. I advise you to listen to Qur’aanic programs on the radio. This way, you will find pleasure and will keep busy so you can stay away from music and songs.May Allah guides us to the right path.

Well its an interesting discussion to know who, what, and where is God, Allah, Jesus, Moses, Karishna, Budha and all that. I think all we need to do is to concentrate on our ownself, free us from all types of biases, be an optimistic. If we are able to overcome our biases I am sure He will show us the right way. As for M.J is concerned lets be optimistic again. If we dont have a proof of his being a Muslim we dont have a proof of his being a non Muslim as well and we have to make an assumption. So lets make a positive assumption that his heart had known the right way. Lets pray that his soul might rest in eternal peace.

el salamo alekom
hi every body
to samira i agree for some of what you say
that god only knows whats inside the hearts of all of us
and allah is the only one who have the right to say who is going to hell and who have the honar to be in heaven .
you have to read more about islam
i think because of your most traveling and living away you was teaching yourself islam
so lets begin from the start whats islam ?
it is beleiving in one god ….
no siblings no one but allah he has no son or wife no one at all
he is the all mighty and has no need to anyone
the creator of the universe does he need any help
ofcourse not
so jesuse was muslim and moses was moslem , ibrahim nad noha even adam was muslim
because they beleive in one god
so we muslim belive in all messengers and prophets
and we beleive in one god
if there is muslims who do bad things like murder or raping or even having an illegal sex they are exteremly punshed and they will be ounshed by allah also so we are not superior for anyone we have to respect other pepole more than anyone beacause we are muslims
we must so pepole how is the true islam
prophet muhamed (pbuh) never force anyone to islam
he just tell them about islam and if anyone has the interst to come to islam he shows him
thats what we must do because islam doesnt need anyone but we need islam to show us the right way
god bless us all and for you smaira muslims do mistakes but islam the religion has no mistake its god tlake
thanks to all of you
peace be upon you

For people (eg. Waqas Lone) who thinks that one has to be a muslim in order to go to heaven:

Islam started as a religion circa 600AD. Human civilization started way back – more than 10,000BC. For example the Egyptians, Babylonians, Chinese have recorded history dating back from 5,000BC.

If your assumption is true, that would imply mean that ALL of our forefathers prior to 600AD went to HELL? And that only starting from 600AD the fortunate Muslims started going to heaven?

I just read this entire post. Wow! This is an amazing site and I have learned a great deal reading it. I can’t believe that all these people are arguing over whether or not Jackson was Muslim or Christian. This question seems to be painfully important to a lot of people and I’m wondering WHY? Why is this question so very important to you? What would it mean to you if you knew for sure that he did belong to your religion? What would it mean to you if you found for sure that he rejected your religion? When I look at all of these posts — it brings me to conclude that people look to entertainers to be their Gods. Folks — MJ was a rare and gifted entertainer. I doubt if anyone who posted here even met him. He was a human being but it sounds like he is being worshiped. That worries me. What does it say about the human race that people would get that desperate about a person they didn’t even really know.

interesting isn’t it?
becoz islam have believe and proof, both islam have.

christianity that word doesn’t exist in the bible. and trinity that word also not exist in the bible.

jesus(pbuh), moses(pbuh), abraham(pbuh) david(pbuh)
they are the messenger of god.
becoz all of them they submit there will to almighty(ALLAH)
john(5:30) this two verses cleary says that jesus(pbuh) was nothing else but a messenger and muslim.

muslim means a person who submit his will to ALLAH(GOD)

may be you donot know, that all the scripture before quran for particulat time and for particular people.
and quran is not only for arab or muslims… quran for whole of humankind including jinn.

quran says: anbiya:107″) We sent thee(mohammad) not, but as a mercy for all creatures.”

i dont want to criticize any religion. i can proof 1000 of errors from bible and vedas like earth is flat, how human creted like pour dot milk and cheese says bible. ofcourse man not created in that way

quran says produce your proof if you are truthfull(2:111)baqara
and if you can not then fear the hell fire which fuel will be man and stone

lastly mohammad(pbuh) mention in hiduism, bible all the secrect scripture.. i have proof with reference. but even after that some people will not believe…. why
deaf, dumb and blind they will never come to the true path.
mathew 13:13 seeing they see not, hearing they hear not, neither they will understand

who will enter paradise
quran:asr chapter 103 verse 1-3
By (the Token of) time (through the Ages), (1) Verily Man is in loss, (2) Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy. (3)

4 criteria have to full filled
faith, righteous deed(halal works)
call people for the HAQ(truth/dawa) muslim and non muslim..

if anyone fullfill he/she will get janna inshallah

Why are people so concerned if Michael Jackson was a Muslim or not. Do they pray for the millions of forgotten Muslims in the third world countries that have suffered and died a slow painful death due to ignorance by third parties? Instead of worrying about Michael Jackson, worry about yourself. The reason why the people of Islam don’t seem to be ‘happy’ is because they are easily being lead astray and they know what will happen to them. Why don’t the people who claim to be Muslims, research the whole foundation of their religion before insinuating that they are a solid representative of the religion and telling people wrong things. Allah (SWT) sent down the prophets and the Quraan to reveal the true message of Islam. The only reason why you are forgetting the beauty of Islam is because you are scared of the consequences of your actions as you have given in to temptation. You only condemn the religion to forget about the consequence, but when you’re alone and you’re having doubts, you know yourself that you have done wrong whether it is small or big and you block it out by becoming oblivious to it.
How about people brush up on the story of creation and the downfall of Satan and know what path is right and wrong.
And if you all notice ‘Samira’ was the first to turn the debate around on to the religion of Islam and has created conflict and in a sense a path. If you’re a non-believer then don’t get involved if you’re are not really interested in the religion and just want to slate it, because that is just pathetic… especially since you are basing this debate and maybe some other links as the basis of Islam, if you want to know about the religion go to someone who has the knowledge and understanding and who is a devout Muslim.
I’m not a fanatic nor do I consider myself a good Muslim, as we give in to temptation to much; however it is pure common sense that Islam is the strongest religion in the world and many people are trying to do as much as they can to denounce it to see its demise.

It’s been 2 hours I have been reading this page. And I feel sorry for Michelle who is studying Islam but people like Samirah are misguiding. From all the above discussions especially discussion number 85, 87 & 91 I was so broken into tears. It is so clear to understand Islam but Samirah you are so blind and taking others into dark as well.

Islam means peace and Muslim means submitting once will for Allah. True Muslims are ready to give up all the luxury and ego for Allah and they have started preparing for their return to the creator of all. There are many eye opening comments about Islam that anyone can believe in Islam after reading the whole discussion. But for those who are blind will never understand. I respect Islam and I am so proud to be a Muslim. I am here to say few more things:

As a Muslim when someone dies or when a misfortune overtakes, we say: Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. ‘Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return’.” It does not matter if someone is Muslim or or we can say this dua on once death because everything belongs to Allah and we all have to return back to Allah.

So is MJ………..so it does not matter if he was Muslim or not send this dua form him. Allah knows better than us.

@ SAMIRAH: I don’t know if you are a Muslim or not but what you say does not make sense. You call yourself open minded but you cannot see the simplest thing. You are here because Allah created you and Allah is the creator of everything. One day you will die and return to the creator of all….Allah who created you for the 1st time. Well u r asking for a proof that if is Allah the creator? ….then ask yourself..!!!

Do you know why I believe in Islam because Muslims believe in one and only god – the unseen. Have u ever seen a God then how can any person or idol can be a god. Muslims have never seen their god but they believe in Him- this is Islam. Quran is the guide to the mankind and it says about everything you need to live and know. You just need a better understanding.

@ Michelle: I respect you that you have been studying Islam and finding the right answer. It’s your right to find the correct answer but don’t forget in your this journey you will find many ways leading you to different directions. You need to choose the right path. Your question was that if it’s true that only Muslims will go to the heaven and kafir (non-believers) will not? Dear brother read Quran, read “surah Bakarah” with meaning and you will get your answers. And to me I also believe that good people will go to the heavens no matter what religion they belong but if they do not believe in ONE God they may get into trouble. As we all are adult enough to understand and differentiate between good and bad, we should not make this silly mistake to understand who is our creator (which is a huge mistake!!) And to be honest…..Allah knows better who will go to heavens and who will not. So be prepared, behave rightly and understand……you are a grown up blessed with all senses – the blessing of Allah indeed.

Leave all the religion aside and answer me with your open eyes. Open your eyes…..tell me one thing? Do you believe that a person or a human can be God or Gods’s son or an Idol can be a God? Does that sound right to you? And brother, if that does not sound right and you if you think that The Creator of all is one and only one – unseen, then congratulation you are in Islam and you are a Muslim. Leave the rest on Allah that He is the creator of all and knows better than us that who deserves what in here-after?

May Allah guide to all human beings. To all Muslim brothers and sisters one last suggestion from me is that READ READ READ Quran. Read and seek knowledge not only of Quran but everything that makes you sensible and respectful in the world and here after. Prepare for the last Day of Judgment and prepare for your death – its certain , its certain.

Is it mendatory that one shold be a muslim to send his bkessings for the MJ (RIP)? I am a muslim but a great admirer of the King of Pop, he was a great entertainer of all times, a social activist and above all, a himble and sinecere human being, truely devoted for the better of humanity without any illogical discrimination of gender, race and geographical boundaries. If you one is eager to plung himself into some sort of tug-of-war to decide about MJ, I suggest he/she must go through some basic research about his life before “Locking” your final decisions about MJ’s life. Atleast going through a few paragraphs of “Moonwalker” would suffice you. Try it….

@ Hena

Thank you so much for your gift. that is a great website. I do want to point out that i am female :)
I havent been on this discussion in months, and im intrigued that this conversation is still so very much alive.

To answer your question:
Do you believe that a person or a human can be God or Gods’s son or an Idol can be a God?
Answer = No. And I never have, this is the exact reason I was kicked out of Christian sunday school multiple times, and told I wasnt “the right fit” completely seems like a sort of Cult to me at that time. The right fit? how can one be a right fit in the eyes of the creator? also the reason I find this religion to be illogical.

I have not been on this site for many reasons, mostly because i found myself getting very frustrated and extremely saddened by the comments made, some of the comments i made myself. I did not want to read anything else on this site that caused me to become frustrated or hateful towards all muslims, but really some of the comments were really starting to do that. I had to stay away for a while to sort myself out again. I am back.
I found Islam by chance, I prayed and my prayers were answered. This is when i realized that (God, at the time, i knew nothing if islam and haddent even heard the word before) Allah loves me and cares about me, whether or not the preists think Im a good fit or not. It took me years of praying and hoping and maybe i had blind eyes, i do not know. But i do know that i cannot explain the gratefulness i feel by just knowing that I am loved and worth a happy life. For this, i thank Allah and only Allah. None of you did that for me, nor did anyone i’ve ever known including myself. Allah did that for me, and he did it because i asked from my heart. Allah wants me on the right path and I need to respect that as a human. Allah wants to hang with me in heaven, and therefore has granted my one and only wish.

Part 2 – I will not lie to you, my love for Allah is very deep, and always has been, but in a retaliation mindset to the church, there were whole periods of time where I spoke the words “I do not believe in God”. These are my personal dark days, and i didnt even know it. I know I will be judged for this, and I will stand up and take my punishment as I deserve. During this time was when my wishes were being heard and my path was set out for me. I didnt see it. I saw hurt and dispair and my family falling apart, hate for myself, and inability to see that i was a good person, even when i had churches telling me I wasnt a good fit and they didnt want me back simply because i refused to believe (not really refuse, becuase i cant believe what i dont) that Jesus was the son of God, when i read Jesus’ words stating the same. i had no one, i actively stated that i didnt believe in god, and behind closed doors i prayed to Allah, hipocrite much Michelle? :) .
My prayers were answered at a time where i defied Allah. What is more a miracle then this? The stars? the moon? the magnetic forcefield around the earth? the summit of a mountain? the depths of the ocean and all the life within? A baby being born? A blade of grass that returns year after year to help provide life on earth? No, not to me. To me the one prayer i had (Please help me find the light, I know you dont hate me, and as a side note, im a single female struggling to raise a man-child on my own, i have no idea how to do it right and i’d really like to have a man in my life that will respect me and my child and love us to the full extend of his heart and help me turn my child into an adult who will see his own light) this is exactly what happened to me after years of praying, with the meeting of one person. Allah sent him to me.

Pt 3 – Allah slapped me in the face with my answer. and on top of it all, Allah answered my prayers when I said there was no God. Allah loves me and has given me a very special gift. A gift that came from my own heart. I am crying now as I type this. I am so grateful to Allah, and to all of you for your comments, and allowing me to go through these types of situations as they only made me stronger in the end. The love I feel from Allah is like love from your heart beat, love from your every breath, love for you from inside you. I feel; very strongly this, even though my own religion told me repeatedly i was going to hell, or purgatory or some form of tourturous existance because I believed Jesus when he said he was not the son of God.
I will find my way and i suggest everyone do the same. Its very worth it when you ask for it, seek it and acquire it. I feel for those few of you born muslim, taking your religion into a dark place, you are playing right into the Devils plan as far as I’m concerned… I will and do pray for you. This is a much larger scope of prayer, and i do not expect it to be answered on such a large scale, however it was answered on this message board. the real muslims stepped up and said something and i thank you greatly for this. When i read the first page of the Quaran i thought finally, a religion that promotes my very heartfelt beleifs. Where were you all my life? I did not have to convince the Quaran that I was a good fit, as the Quaran speaks my mind and my heart much better than my own mouth would ever be able to say it.

(198) Abdullah Qureshi says:

Salaam Guys

Now first of all to all those who say Michael was NOT a Muslim:

Michael Jackson made it pretty clear that he was going to do something grand in the This Is It tour. Many people said that he was going to expose the New World Order and announce that he’s a Muslim now. This theory is the most authentic one.

Furthermore, like Samirah says, do NOT judge Michael by his appearance. In Michael’s song “Childhood” he says, “Before you judge me, try hard to love me…”

Got it? “Try hard to love me”. So now tell me, are we TRYING to understand the message? No, we ain’t frikin trying.

Now concerning Michael’s death. Do you know that he was killed by the illuminati? Don’t know what the illuminati are? They are the followers of Dajjal. Why did they kill him before his This Is It tour? Precisely This Is It tour? Because he was going to reveal their plans.

Coming back to the Michael-Muslim thingy, let’s consider the religious signs in his Music. Note that Michael Jackson always spins 7 times. Muslims rotate the Ka’abah 7 times.

Then comes his Jewish self. He wore a white glove. this was symbolic as Moses was granted with the miracle of the white hand.

Then comes his Christian self. He was apparently a christian for about 49 years :D .

You see what he’s trying to do? He’s trying to unite the three main, Prophetic Relegions of the world. why? Why would he want to unite them?

Because he wanted them to believe to his testimony regarding the ILLUMINATI!!!

So, guys.

It is not correct to say he was not a Muslim. He was as much a Muslim as christian :) .

(199) Zanir Khan says:

Assalamu alaikum, Please read and ask yourself, are you following ALLAH S.W.T and His Rasools OR are you following the footsteps of the accursed one, the satan….

Music is Haraam: References within the context of the Holy Qur`aan along with the Hadith of the Prophet confirm that music is haraam.
Interpreters of the Qur`aan have defined the term `lahwal hadith` which is mentioned in the Qur`aan as:

1) Singing and listening to songs.
2) Purchasing of male and female singers.
3) Purchase of instruments of fun and amusement.
When Sayyidana Abdullah Ibne Mas`ood , a very close companion of our Prophet was asked about the meaning of the term `lahwal hadith`, he replied “I swear by Him besides whom there is no other God,that it refers to ghinaa (singing ).

This statement, he repeated three times. This view is unanimously supported by the four Khalifas, the eminent Sahabaah, Tabi`een, the four Imaams and other reliable Islaamic scholars and authorities.

One hadith from the Bukhari Shareef, the most authentic Book of Hadith, further confirms unlawfulness of music and singing :

`There will be people of my Ummah who will seek to make lawful; fornication, wine-drinking and the use of ma`aazif ( musical instruments ).

Detailed analysis of the arabic word `ma`aazif ` shows that it refers to musical instruments, the sounds of those musical instruments and singing with the accompaniment of instruments.

Closer analysis of the wordings of the Hadith establishes the prohibition of music. Firstly, the words `seek to make lawful ` shows that music is not permissible, as logically one can only seek to make lawful that which is not allowed. Secondly, if music was not prohibited, then it would not have been brought within the same context as fornication and wine-drinking.

Dear Michelle, I really know very well what you feel now. Like yourself, I love to read and understand the holy book Qur’an that is, I feel, a gift to me from ALLAH. I bear witness that ALLAH is Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Bear witness that I love ALLAH very much.

I love ALLAH very much so that I love all people because ALLAH created them, that’s the core of Islam. I hope all people find themselves on the straight way which starts in this world by birth and ends at heaven after death.

Writing this comment, I am crying because my heart is now full of love of ALLAH, which cannot be described but only lived. As explained in Islam, I love Mohammed (peace be upon him) , Jesus, Moses, Abraham and all the other prophets and all messengers. And, feeling to be like a green color in a light spectrum, I love to be a Muslim.

May ALLAH guide all of us (people who read or unread my comment) to the straight path.

(206) Salmaan the Persian says:

The real meaning of religion is nothing other than understanding your place in the universe and whether or not there is any Creator and your relation toward the Creator. As far as I could know about Islam, the only meaning of Islam is reaching the most righteous and comprehensive understanding of the Creator and that is whatever you may need. Whatever you may think of, you may do or you may say will be affected by this understanding and understanding of your relation toward the Creator. And this understanding is something deeply personal. If there is any hereafter, the meaning of heaven is nothing other than your position and relation toward the Creator. The better you know the Creator the more you will enjoy this understanding and comprehension and this is the meaning of heaven. And as this understanding is something so deeply personal, there is no one other than the person themselves to feel the meaning of this understanding and later the joy caused by it.
The following inscription was upon the portico of the hall of Feridun (king of Persia, and king of kings of Iran):

O brother, the world remains with no one.
Bind the heart to the Creator, it is enough.
Rely not upon possessions and this world
Because it has cherished many like thee and slain them.
When the pure soul is about to depart,
What boots it if one dies on a throne or on the ground?

And its transliteration in Persian for those who may like to know:

Jahaan Ey Baraadar Namaanad Be Kas,
Del Andar Jahaan-Aafarin Band o Bas.
Makon Tekyeh Bar Molk-e Donyaa o Posht,

Salaamz. Wow! I don’t ever take part in these discussions but sister sameera are you seriouly going to doubt Allah? How can u call yourself at true muslim if you doubt that there is one god and prophet mohammed(pbuh) is the messenger of allah? How can can you doubt it? Allah created islam, islam is the 1 n only true religion. All other riligions are man made. They were produced by priests etc and not by allah. Another thing you cannot ask if there is a god or if he exists because if you don’t believe in Allah there is no jannat for that person. Creating partners with Allah, doubting there is an Allah etc are forms of SHIRK. And you will never ever be admitted into jannah you will burn in hell forever. I’ve read only some of your posts, and girl you need help some serious help, let alone religiously, mentally as well. Allah alone can judge what you truly believe but from what I see from what you are posting it is very difficult to call you muslim and believe me I’m wanting you to be muslim c0z I don’t I don’t want you to burn in hell but you making it clear you more like athiest. You need help, consult a mufti and I would recommend a psychiatrist. And get your attitude straight. Just admit you are wrong and ask Allah for forgiveness Insha Allah you will be forgiven. Aameen.

I am happy to know that there are people who think beyond conventions. I want to make a point that a religion is all about Imaan. Muslims believe in the theory of Shirk (i.e only one GOD, who has no image) and Khufr (i.e Denial of the creator). If any person does not do shirk or Khufr, he is on the right path. There is a possibility that the person may go to heaven (of any religion). Its right that we all are humans and we can pray even for a non muslim. Religion is for an individual. If we have no right to judge whether a person will go to heaven or hell, similarly we have no right to judge a person’s deeds on earth. If charity gives satisfaction to some one then we can’t say its hippocratic. You may find that charity is made compulsary in ISLAM in the form of Zakaat. Zakaat is not an hippocratic act but it imposes a responsibility on a rich person towards his follow beings.
In your post you mentioned “GOD created all religions”.Its true but GOD also offered an improvement over every religion. ISLAM is the lastest one in the ladders of religion. ISLAM accept that Bible, Taurait and Zubur are the books send by GOD but Quarn is the improved version of all of them. (Ehle Kitab)
Your observation was quite right that you mostly see christians happy. You may find people in bad condition and you may think that GOD do not love them but you know only a fortunate person is chosen by the GOD to take the toughest path because when he will pass the exam then only he will get the highest reward. BTW condition of muslims is not because of ISLAM but because of their deeds. ISLAM says that in this world everything is according to your deeds (Concept of Musabab ul asbab). I agree with you that you will mostly find muslims to be very strict with no consideration for any possibility. But it is the fault followers of ISLAM not the fault of religion ISAM .
Please reply to this massage.I would like to know your opinion. Its really important.

Okay you people complecate everything you wanna know if he did or didnt convert to islam???? Why does it even matter???? IF YOU WERE TRUE fans you would love him AND pray for him all the same, weather muslim/christian/jew or any other religion there may be, but all of you wheather christian/muslim/jew shouldnt disrespect others’ religions because at the end we all believe in the same god (as in christians/muslims/jews we only beleive in different prophets or messengers) christians and jews are hating this due to their hate to islam which is sad, but still us muslims we dont hate over nicki minaj or maroon5 because their christian, their music is why we love them, and the truth is micheal jackson DID CONVERT INTO A MUSLIM, proof is his last recorded song “islam is in my viens” it was recorded 6 days before his mystrious death, it was meant for the tour when he was gonna declare his islam, if you do not want to believe this, thats up to you, your just another in denial person who doesnt want to believe reality, but please dont take it out on micheal jackson (a.k.a mikaeel-thats his muslim name, may god bring peace upon him) because he still was the king of pop, and please listen to the song it really is beautiful, and well it carries his will, and well may god bless you whatever your religion is :)
