Top Islamic Arts Museum Opens in Middle East

The celebration is now underway for the grand opening of the Museum of Islamic Arts in Doha, Qatar. Designed by 91-year-old architect Mr. I.M. Pei (creator of the Louvre Pyramid), this massive monument to Islamic art will open its doors to the public on December 1st. The grand opening of this 45,000 square meter building was anticipated by many in the art world, hailed in by over 1,000 guests amidst bright fireworks displays.
