Medical Ethics in Islam

The U.S. state of South Dakota banned abortions yesterday, except to save the life of the pregnant woman. If doctors perform abortions for any other reason, even in cases of rape or incest, they face felony charges and up to 5 years in prison. Legal challenges are expected.
