Ramadan Begins Around the World

Based on a moon-sighting in Texas on Thursday evening, most of North America will begin the Ramadan fast on Friday. Most of the rest of the world will also begin on Friday. Isolated Islamic centers in North America and Europe have announced the fast to begin on Saturday, as have the countries of Pakistan, India, and Bangladesh. Ramadan Kareem to all!
