Listen to the Qur'an

The word Qur'an literally means, "the Recitation." As holy scripture, it was always meant to be recited, listened to -- not just looked at as dry words on a page, but expressed with the tongue and the heart. The Qur'an is the exemplar of the Arabic language's subtlety and poetry. Listening to the words of God, recited in a beautiful voice and a melodious tone, brings calm and tranquility to a believer's heart.
